I made people go hiking in the autumnal splendor today.

They are very enthusiastic about it. 😄

I made challah, y'all! (Shanah tovah! 😊)

Anyone who knows my sordid history with yeast breads should be impressed. 😅

This week's project (at Owain's behest): homemade Jaffa Cakes (I have a stress-tested recipe if anyone wants)

Here I am in my office hours today. It is possible that I may be letting my students in on what some of my personal interests are.

Made macaroni and cheese for dinner tonight.

Ari made her own birthday cake this year!

Closeup 😃

Cuddling the companion cube she got from her brother.

Birthday fire!

It was a pecan cake, with orange jello poured into it and allowed to set, with a layer of homemade marshmallow in the middle and covered with whipped cream.

It tasted *exactly* like an orange creamsicle.

So proud of my son. :')

He's been playing the roguelike I play for a while. It's incredibly difficult and you die often, and he's been super patient. This was his first win!
