Holidays!

 

We had a lovely gathering for Hanukkah, although technically it was right after Hanukkah was over. Whatever, we had many latkes. I also made homemade gelt (one plain chocolate, one chocolate-orange-almond) that was well received.

 

This is the bread I made for the solstice- it came out gorgeous! 

 

 

This was the dinner spread for the Solstice. Note the kitty bowl that was my last-minute present from Micha. 

 

 

Went out to do a photoshoot in Glen Echo with the kiddos. 

 

We spent a bunch of time sketching animals at the zoo this weekend. Animal statues had to be stood on.
