Shana tova! 

 

We had a bunch of people from the department over for a potluck. It was a nice way to celebrate.

 

  

Micha did a triathlon this weekend! (That's why we were in Akron)

We were in the Akron area with time to kill, so we went downtown to the art museum. These glass sculptures (all glass!) blew me away.

Micha enjoyed this immersive art installation.

Afterward, we went to a nearby boardgame cafe, which was a lovely way to spend the afternoon!

My sisters came to visit over the holiday weekend!

 

 

 

We took them to the Zoo- it was up in the 90s, so a very hot day. The manatees were definitely a must-see.

 

 

 

There were also ostriches!

The annual Bird Tunnel Party was that weekend as well, so we checked it out.

It was a nice chance to check Glen Echo out also.
