Camping 2021: Damp and Full of Cicadas

Ari is wearing a mask in the hope that it'll help her compete at Love Letter better, not because of the pandemic.

There was a lot of rain for the first half of the trip, but we have a good tent.

The ground at our site looked like swiss cheese and was covered with cicada molts.

So many cicada molts.

Many smores were had (and Ari liked her cloak this weekend in part because the hood deadened the cicada scream slightly).

We got very up close and personal with Brood X.

We spent a lot of time reading.

It was great to get to do some swimming.
