My son got up and made us all breakfast whilst I was working, and now he's fixing us lunch ❤

We spent a lot of time in the tent because the weather was questionable- alternating extreme heat and thunderstorms. Fortunately we had a really shady spot, some battery powered fans and a lot of games and fun things to do.

We mostly tried to go to bed as soon as it got dark, but sometimes we stayed up a bit.

The kids both working on cross stitch. 🙂

We got to go swimming! There were a few people out there, but not too many. We went back on the weekend but there were too many people for us to feel good about swimming then.

The kids got a lot of entertainment out of the water shooters that my parents bought them a while back. 🙂

We did spend a lot more time outside than these photos make it look like, I just didn't think to take photos whilst we were cooking or walking around or whatever.

I went to the grocery store today and, for the first time, every single person I saw was wearing a mask which covered their whole mouth and nose. 😷

We are currently under both a city and a state masking order, so people not wearing masks are theoretically fineable here. I definitely have noticed a big change as soon as the orders went into place. 

Eating homemade cookies and cream ice cream for breakfast with the children 😃

I'mma make proper breakfast in a minute here but we worked hard yesterday to get it in the freezer so...
