Kids had a teacher workday on Friday, so we went to visit the new dinosaur at Orton Hall.

 

A week late, but here I am at the symphony with my daughter ❤ (my son was there too but he didn't dress up so I made him take the picture)

 

We saved cookies for the kiddos from last week's reception for the new dinosaur. Ari liked hers so much she wanted me to take a picture and post it for the world to see.

This morning, my son is making us pancakes for breakfast and my daughter mended her own clothing (after a demonstration by me). Huzzah for increasing self-sufficiency. ❤ 

 

Micha and I went to hear a guy talk about how he happened upon a dinosaur whilst having a pee break during an expedition in Antarctica.

Our tiny local geological museum just got a replica (the discoverer is one of our emeritus professors), and Micha got an invite to a special lecture by the guy on account of having given them money to help pay for it. It was awesome.
